ABOUT
After staying underground for 15 years in the emerging Los Angeles EDM scene, DAYMAKER publicly emerged in 2021 to bring his sound of electronic music and No Ego Nights to the Pacific Northwest. With his unique house music mixes he dubs “crèmo house,” DAYMAKER plays la crème de la crème of melodic, deep, funk, disco tropical, tech, and regular house music to move the crowd and make some days.
Jimmy B, known as DAYMAKER, spent his formative years in the entertainment meccas of Las Vegas and Hollywood. Following the pandemic, Jimmy desired to live in a mountain-forest town to reconnect with nature, get directly involved with a smaller community, and live on a farm. Despite now living a simpler life, DAYMAKER’s passion for music burned large enough to put in the work to bring the house music scene and a positive party atmosphere to his new home town.
Before emerging in Coeur d’Alene, DAYMAKER spent his DJ career in the underground scene avoiding social media. He co-founded No Ego Records and over his time in Hollywood held residencies at various clubs and after-hours locales. Beyond the clubs, DAYMAKER moved bodies at desert & lake festivals, birthday parties, and other private events. After over a decade of honing his style, he now carefully selects his music to focus on uplifting and feel-good music. DAYMAKER chose his handle because he loves to make peoples’ days by giving them an environment to smile & dance in. DAYMAKER found a passion for electronic music and festivals as outlets for people to express their creative selves in a positive and receptive environment. The music & these experiences helped DAYMAKER overcome depression that most young people experience at that time in their life while trying to find their way in the world. DAYMAKER hopes to bring similar experiences to people of all ages through his music & events.
DAYMAKER plays all over the spectrum of house: disco house, tech house, deep house, tropical house, bass house, house house, etc. With over a decade of experience and music in his catalog, he knows just the right sounds to create good positive vibes in any environment and long time EDM fans often get to enjoy classics brought into to the current day. DAYMAKER draws inspiration from acts such as Daft Punk, Kaskade, Sofi Tukker, Nora en Pure, Big Wild, Purple Disco Machine, Fedde le Grand, Dillon Francis, Eelke Klein, Diplo, Autograf, John Summit, Lane 8, and many others.
No Ego Nights is a event that DAYMAKER started in the summer of 2021 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He brought DJs from across the Pacific Northwest, LA, British Colombia & New Zealand to play at his events & join him on stage. Setting the tone from the top, DAYMAKER succeeded in creating an atmosphere of peace, love, unity and respect. As the summer of ’21 and ’22 progressed the events only grew. Selling out show after show people couldn’t get enough of the house music and fun party experience that is No Ego Nights.
In the summer of 2022 DAYMAKER obtained residency at the Board Walk Bar at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, which gave him the perfect venue to play uplifting deep and tropical house music. He dubbed these Thursday & Sunday evening events “Sunset Sessions”. These events pulled an all ages crowd who loved to watch all the beautiful scenes Lake Coeur d’Alene has to offer while being immersed in DAYMAKER’S digital serenades which has continued into 2023.
DAYMAKER’s professional attitude and success in Coeur d’Alene has led to more opportunities out of state. This summer he was flown to Austin, TX to play a 12-hr set at a private pool party and has been supporting other DJs at nightclubs in Spokane, WA. Inspired to create more, this summer DAYMAKER released a remix of Queen and David Bowie’s hit Under Pressure and recorded a 2hr DJ set on Lake Coeur d’Alene, available on Youtube . The video consists of mixes of his favorite deep house music cuts and beautiful scenery of the lake. With the help of his friend Will from Power Cinema they really captured a true vibe with drone footage.
With another successful summer under his belt, DAYMAKER looks to close out the year with a few more events and time in the studio. Hosting a yacht party for Halloween on October 29th & a “Disco Christmas” party to end the year. DAYMAKER has plans to release more mashups, another remix, and an original track before the year is through.
Look out for DAYMAKER and No Ego Nights events in 2023 & beyond!
